The community is invited to an engaging storytelling event featuring seven of Idaho?s most influential women in politics. ?Women in the House: Political Stories? will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, in the Student Union Simplot Ballroom.
Seven women will share 10-minute stories about their political experiences, including everything from who inspires them to what motivates them to overcoming adversity. Attendees will hear the stories firsthand, gain new perspectives on politics and learn how to get more involved in the political process.
Speakers include Jana Kemp, Patricia Kempthorne, Kathy Kustra, Maria Mabbutt, Lauren McLean, Cathy Silak and Emily Walton.
Co-sponsored by Boise State Public Radio and the Boise State Women?s Center, the event is free but seating is limited. RSVP at http://www.boisestatepublicradio.org/ or http://womenscenter.boisestate.edu. Free parking is available in the Liberal Arts parking lot.
