PR and Business Development Executive role at exciting tech ...

A great opportunity at a young tech startup company has arisen and is ready for the taking!

We?re looking for someone to head up a new position in our growing team. The split role will involve Business Development and PR responsibilities.

Clear Books provides online accounting software for small businesses. The 4 year old company has grown quickly and is looking for a confident new addition to the Marketing team. We are a young and friendly company who care about giving our customers the best possible experience of our software.

Who we are looking for?

The ideal candidate should be confident talking on the phone and meeting potential partners in person. You will need to be analytical to determine the great opportunities from the time wasters.

The candidate will be out of the office on a regular basis meeting new partners to discuss opportunities and then working with our team to implement projects and liaise with the partners.

Both areas of this split role will heavily focus on building relationships.

PR responsibilities

- Building a list of key media contacts.
- Liaising with journalists via telephone, email and meetings.
- Writing and distributing press releases to targeted media.
- Writing and editing Clear Books blogs and articles.
- Building exposure for Clear Books.

Business Development responsibilities

- Researching potential partner relationships via phone email and meetings.
- Making 10 appointment/week nationwide.
- Follow up new business opportunities and setting up meetings.
- Developing and carrying out presentations.
- Writing reports for feedback for management.
